General Nursing and Midwifery(G.N.M)

The GNM program, spanning three years, welcomes aspiring nurses from diverse backgrounds. With an intake capacity of 80 seats, it offers a balanced distribution, including specialized seats for male candidates. The eligibility criteria emphasize a strong academic foundation, nursing registration, and good health. This program empowers students to embark on a fulfilling journey in the nursing field, equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide compassionate care to individuals and communities. Admissions are conducted annually, providing a pathway for those dedicated to making a positive impact in healthcare.

Eligibility Criteria

Age criteria :- Minimum and Maximum age for admission is 17 to 35 years. There is no age bar for ANM/LHV.

Educational requirement:-

1. 10+2 class passed preferably Science (PCB) & English (40 Marks) with aggregate of 40% marks.
2. 10+2 in Arts & Commerce (Mathematics, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy) and English Core/English Elective or Health care Science - Vocational stream ONLY, passing out from recognized Board under AISSCE/ CBSE/ ICSE/ SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board with 40% marks (Other than languages marks there should be 40% Marks and English also should have 40 Marks.)
3. 10+2 vocational ANM under CBSE Board or other equivalent board from the school and recognized by Indian Nursing Council with 40% marks.
4. Registered as ANM with State Nursing Registration Council.
5. Student shall be medically fit.
6. Student shall be admitted once in a year.
7. 24 seats out of 80 seats i.e. 30% for male candidates.

Intake Capacity :- 80 Seats

Female Seats :- 56 Seats

Male Seats :- 24

Course Duration :- 3 Years
